20XX will end ,and 20XXwill come .In the new year ,we must have much wishes ,because new year means that old things end and another things start. So we need to make a new year"s resolution in orderthat the second year will be better.I want to share my new year"s resolution withyou.
Firstly,I decide to try my best to learn English ,because my English is sopoor that it affects my other subjects.I will face many difficulties ,such as broadening my vocabulary, training my listening ,improving my write and so on. I must work hard because I don"t want to be behind the times.
Secondly ,I will give up watching football games because every time it takes me two hours ,which makes me not finish my homework .As a student ,studying is our duty ,so I will focus more on studying and less on playing . For my future ,I will work hard.
A new year ,a new start, when I stand on the edge of the a new year, I can‘t help thinking about my plan of next year. Just as the old saying:“Well began is the half of the success.”
So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ,and then ,at the beginning ,I‘m quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.
But ,what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While, I will do my best to live up with what I have planned, and the result will prove it.
Hoping to excite student interest in our reading center, I asked each teacher to write a New Year's resolution on a special form and send it to me. After I posted the resolutions on the bulletin board in the reading center, one young teacher stopped by, looked at them for a few minutes, and then left abruptly.
Passing two teachers on their way in, she stormed, "My resolution isn't posted - and mine was one of the first ones in!" I couldn't help but overhear, and the tone of her voice sent me flying to my desk in search of a misplaced resolution. Looking rapidly through stacks of papers, I uncovered hers. It read, "I resolve not to let little things upset me. "
