A Sunday
It was Sunday. I had hoped to sleep later. But at about five o＇clock in the morning I was woken up by the telephone. The call was from the hospital. There was something wrong with a patient. On hearing this, Father puton his clothes quickly and set out without delay. I said,“Itmust be another busy day. A doctor＇s work is too hard.”Mother patted me on the head and said with a smile,“Everything in the world is hard. You must workhard, too.”I nodded.
After breakfast I went to school, though it was Sunday. Some of my classmates were not there. Perhaps they wanted to relax and have a good time. But we are facing a great challenge----the college entrance examinations. We must work harder than ever.
